Minnetonka Rotary Open House 2017

The Minnetonka Rotary is holding an open house / mixer, which is open to all ( including you ) that live or work in the Hopkins or Minnetonka communities. On Wednesday, May 3rd from 5:00pm til 8:00pm, at the Gold Nugget Grille (14401 Excelsior Blvd, Minnetonka, MN 55345 - one mile west of 494 on Excelsior Blvd ). You are invited to attend, enjoy food, beverages, fellowship and to ask our members .... Just what kind of an organization is The Minnetonka Rotary ?

The Rotary International motto is “Service Above Self”. Rotary has been working towards eradicating Polio, and is committed to making clean water available throughout the world. Although The Minnetonka Rotary is part of Rotary International, we are really a local community organization dedicated to “Building Responsible Youth”. We contribute time and money to Hopkins and Minnetonka, including high school scholarships, Minnehaha Creek, ICA Food Shelf, Empty Bowls, student mentoring, foreign exchange students, Girl Scouts at Camp Tanadoona, and other local programs.

If you are interested in becoming involved in the community ….. you need to come and see if we might be the group you didn’t know you were looking for. The Minnetonka Rotary has a secondary motto …. “The club that’s more fun than you want it to be” … and if you’re wondering ‘just what the heck does that mean’ ? Then you need to come to our open house, because all the goodness in the world is worthless if you can’t have some fun in the process.

The Minnetonka Rotary holds its weekly meetings at the Eisenhower Community Center, 1001 Highway 7 in Room #233 ( Hwy 7 between Highway 169 and Highway 494) every Wednesday at 7:15AM.
